Compassion

A recent oil painting was used as the initial source for this work and layered with a rich variety of textures. The continual need to readdress the ability to be compassionate under periods of duress when one might find it hard to show compassion. This is when compassion has its true beauty strength and value. Repetitions of a mantra based on love helped in the making of this work. Compassion enables a path for rebuilding broken wings of the heart. It is ultimately the way we must follow like pilgrims to heal a world of broken wings so we can all fly.
